ek robotics is Naming Sponsor of the Library

The Commerzbibliothek branch in the new campus of HSBA ÎçÒ¹AV is getting a renowned supporter.

, one of the world's leading manufacturers and system integrators of innovative high-tech transport robotics for intralogistics, is supporting the relocation and conversion of the new branch of the Commerzbibliothek with a generous donation and will give its name to the library. 

Andreas Böttner, CEO at ek robotics and former EMBA student at HSBA, is very pleased to be able to support the university in this way: "I am very grateful for my excellent education at HSBA, which has optimally prepared me for the professional challenges in my current position at ek robotics. "Education and knowledge is the foundation for our international competitiveness", Böttner continues. "It is important to us to make a contribution to the promotion of excellent higher education in Hamburg". 

As was previously the case in the main building at Alter Wall, all students on the new campus have access to a branch of the oldest private economics library in the world. On the 5th floor, with a view of the St. Nikolai Church, students can use the textbook collection with the most important study-related works as a reference collection. The branch will be reopened in accordance with the general regulations for universities.

Andreas Böttner has been working for ek robotics in various positions since 2011. After successfully completing his Executive MBA at the ÎçÒ¹AV in 2017, he was appointed Managing Director of the specialist for intelligent transport robots in 2018.
