Fundraising
ÎçÒ¹AVs a private university whose main shareholder is the Foundation for the Promotion of HSBA. In addition, the Versammlung Ehrbarer Kaufleute zu Hamburg e.V. (Assembly of Honourable Merchants of Hamburg) and the Alumni Association hold shares in our university. (VEEK) and the Alumni Association also hold shares in our university.
Our main shareholder uses its funds to promote the development of HSBA. Tuition fees and contributions through donations and support from numerous partners and our Association of Friends and Sponsors (VFF) enable us to be at the cutting edge of teaching and research.

Your ways to support the HSBA
Would you like to support the HSBA on its further path? With your commitment, we are able to break new ground in teaching and research and live up to our claim of offering all students the best possible teaching and learning conditions.
There are many ways to support us. Everything is possible, from a one-time or earmarked donation to membership in our association of friends and supporters. Room sponsorships
Would you like to support HSBA with a room sponsorship? We have seminar and learning rooms, but also lounges and meeting points. From small to large, we will find a common opportunity. If you take on a room sponsorship, your room will be given the name of your company and branded accordingly. Of course, you can also use the room for your company events.
A room sponsorship starts at € 5,000 p.a. for a small learning room.

Junge Akademie @HSBA
The Junge Akademie is the business course for young professionals in Hamburg's business community. Students between the ages of 16 and 19 work with us to expand their knowledge of business and want to make themselves known to Hamburg companies. Take advantage of this opportunity and get to know these young people at an early stage and make them aware of your company as a potential employer. You have various options here:

Research and PhD
Intensive engagement with a scientific topic is a great opportunity – for the development of one's own knowledge, but also on a very personal level. We want to continue to give this opportunity to suitable candidates in the future. And that is why we are looking for sponsors for our doctoral programme at HSBA. In addition to tuition fees, it is donations from companies and private individuals that enable us to offer our doctoral students a challenging doctoral programme. Platinum (one-time), Funding amount p.a.: 75.000 €

- Sponsor becomes name sponsor of the annual Member Presentation
- Sponsor becomes name sponsor of scholarship for one doctoral student

Silver, Amount of funding p.a.: 10.000 €, Minimum duration: 3 years

- Sponsor additionally becomes name bearer of a seminar room S
- Company may use the room 1x/quarter free of charge

Bronze, Amount of funding p.a.: 5.000 €, Minimum duration: 3 years
- Sponsor becomes name bearer of scholarship for one doctoral student

Association of Friends and Sponsors of HSBA
Would you like to support us and our students regularly and develop the university together with us? Then become a member of our Friends and Supporters Association (VFF). Here you have the opportunity, among other things, to support us in the expansion and development of virtual courses, in the awarding of scholarships for particularly high-achieving students or in the promotion of stays abroad, conference participation and the expansion of our doctoral programme.
