For the sixth time, the HSBA Summer School on Corporate Social Responsibility organized by the Chair of International Business Ethics and Sustainability is taking place in Hamburg. The summer school offers students from all over the world the opportunity to spend two intensive weeks dealing with topics like business ethics, sustainability and CSR. This year there are 22 participants from Madagaskar, USA, Armenia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Greece, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Nigeria, Ghana and Germany.
"Every year, our CSR Summer School brings together young ambassadors from around the world to discuss current management challenges and best practice approaches at HSBA. It is exciting and inspiring to see how students from Japan, USA, Ghana or Saudi Arabia discuss these topics with students from Europe and together with managers work out solutions," explains Prof. Dr. med. Sarah Jastram, holder of the Chair of International Business Ethics and Sustainability at HSBA.
The HSBA Summer School on CSR Management – Corporate Social Responsibility in a Globalised World is designed to train students in the fields of business ethics, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and to stimulate a discourse about current and future goals, challenges and most importantly about the social and economic opportunities that correspond with responsible and sustainable business conduct.
